Yesterday we did a pie graph in our maths books. We had to write down what Mrs Hood ate for her break fast every morning. Mrs Hood mostly ate marmite that's her favorite. The black slices of pie show the marmite. The least she ate was jam. She ate two honey (blue pies).
At Vardon School we have been swimming in the hot, hot sun. In the school pool it is so, so cold. We have been learning free style kicking on our backs and gliding on my back and front. I am having fun swimming in the school pool. It is good to swim because you will learn a lot of skills to keep you safe, so you should keep on bringing your togs every day!
I am happy as a year 4 student. I feel like I am the oldest in the class. I am also proud to be back in room 8 beause there are new kids in class so now I can help them and make a lot of great and amazing friends.
My favourite Athletics event was the 200m sprint and the 60m sprint because when I ran on the 200m sprint I came first. When I ran the 60m sprint I got to have three heats. I felt tied but happy at the end of the day.
This is me dressed in my Kapa Haka costume ready to perform. Our Kapa Haka group performed at St Andrews Kindergaten and a Resthome. I really enjoyed singing Waiata and having a moko painted on my face.
This term I have been enjoying drawing and then dying Taniwhas. Room8 has them on display in the classroom and on our class blog. Here is a picture of mine.
