How to make a chocolate milkshake

Equipment:

• Tea Spoon and Table Spoon 
• Blender
• cup  

Ingredients

• Milk
• Sugar
• Ice cream
• chocolate Syrup

Steps:

1. Pour 1 litre of milk into the blender

2. Add 7 Table spoons of the chocolate syrup 
3. Put 5 Table spoons of ice cream
4. Add 3 tea spoons of sugar
5. put the lid on the blender and  turn on the power. Your milkshake will be mixed
6. Pour the milkshake into cups

Evaluation: Now you have a delicious milkshake to share with your friends. 

I AM THE PELICAN

3 days ago I was buffeted in a powerful extraordinary  powerful storm. I had a damaged wing with no feathers on it. I was found on a rocky beach shore by some friendly villagers. I was devastated when I discovered I couldn't fly. luckily the village people looked after me. They demonstrated how to fly by flapping their outstretched arms. Now it was my turn I thought flying might be exciting I'm going to give it a try. I sprinted and launched off I flapped my wings fast, up and away the sun was shining brightly on my outstretched wing. I felt magnificent. I was flying over the deep blue sea. I saw allot of snappers zooming past. I  landed back down on the beach shore I felt proud and exhausted. As I touched down on the boiling hot sand I felt extraordinary. The Islanders were jumping up and down cheering for me. I am a flying pelican now I can find my own colony and be together for ever once more.   

Baby brother description

In room 8 we have been writing on character description about baby brother. Here is mine. 
If you knew my baby brother Junior you would know he is the cutest brother in the world. Because when he talks he babbles and says "goo goo ga ga." He's  always wearing his favourite tiger baby grow. He's only 1 years old. When my mum carries him around she's always playing with his nice curly brown hair. His older sister always gets annoyed and slingshots him, but he doesn't cry he just hits her with his rattle and she begins to cry. He is the best brother I have ever had.

In Room 8 we have been learning how to make our own poem. Here is one of mine.

Madness is dark red like a volcano spitting out fire.
 It tastes of a mouldy rotten cheese left in the fridge for weeks
 and it smells of burnt toast.
 It looks like a dark cave with weta's jumping frantically.
 It sounds like a lady screaming at her dog.
It feels horrible

Imagination

Imagination is something your dream of that is not real like for an example I dreamt I had a talking dog.
Imagination is silly,funny,crazy. It doesn't need to make sense.

In my Imagination poster I have drawn a money tree, you know everyone wants to be rich.

Build your wild self

In Room 8 we have been creating our own  wild self creatures. The 1st creature that I made was a mix of animal parts like the  peacock, lion and elephant.

athletics day

In term 4 the middles  were having athletics day. This is me doing the long jump. I shot across and I jumped as far as I could and then I stopped.

What I have enjoyed this year.

This year I have enjoyed going to the Waitomo caves because we got to see some stalactites and stalagmites and columns. We also got to see some glowworms. Some of the glowworms made pictures like the clouds.

My pie graph

Yesterday we did a pie graph in our maths books. We had to write down what Mrs Hood ate for her break fast every morning. Mrs Hood mostly ate marmite that's her favorite. The black slices of pie show the marmite.The least she ate was jam. She ate two honey (blue pies).

Swimming

At Vardon School we have been swimming in the hot, hot sun. In the school pool it is so, so cold. We have been learning free style kicking on our backs and gliding on my back and front. I am having fun swimming in the school pool. It is good to swim because you will learn a lot of skills to keep you safe, so you should keep on bringing your togs every day!

How I feel as a year 4 student.

I am happy as a year 4 student. I feel like I am the oldest in the class. I am also proud to be back in room 8 beause there are new kids in class so now I can help them and make a lot of great and amazing friends.
